Tanaporn takes title

Tanaporn Kongkiatkrai won her first tournament at the SAT-THAILPGA Championship 2010 in Chon Buri yesterday. The 18-year-old fired a final round 71 to win by a stroke on two-under-par 214 in the three-day tournament at the Pattana Golf and Sports Resort. It was also her first professional win in her debut event."It is really great to win in my first tournament as a pro," said Tanaporn who received 71,000 baht in prize money."My target this year is to qualify for the LPGA Tour." She said. Patcharajutar Kongkraphan (73), who won in China last week, and Kulacha Paiboonpong (72) shared second place on 215. Each received 44,400 baht. Fourth place went to Porani Chutichai (69) and Narisara Kerdrit (70). The next and fourth tournament of the SAT-THAILPGA Championship 2010 will be held at the Watermill Golf and Garden in Nakhon Nayok next month.

In my opinion, this success of her shows. With diligent practice and patience led to victory because golf is a sport that requires concentration and practice. For her success, I believe that as an example to many people more diligent and can create currents that Thai teenagers turned their attention to more sports.
